II. Purposes for which the Personal Data are to be processed

Public Relations and Press Work. Advertising & Marketing (Print, Digital, Outside Advertising). Company Website & Landing Pages. Social Media Channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.). Internal Communication and Training Materials. Editing tools such as Google Docs, Trello, Figma, Microsoft Forms, Adobe View, Frame.io and Adobe Creative Suite. 


III. What Legal Basis for the Data Processing

We Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, insofar as you have given your consent; Art. 6 (1) (b), insofar as the processing is strictly necessary for the performance of a contract (holding of events); and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, insofar as the processing is necessary to achieve the company’s purpose and there is no reason to assume that the data subject’s legitimate interest in the exclusion of the processing prevails.


IV. Recipients/Categories of Recipients

Viewers of the images (customers/potential customers, employees, business partners); service providers commissioned by Gerda Stetter Foundation (e.g. photographers, video productions) as well as, where applicable, external service providers who are contractually obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the GDPR and who act exclusively on behalf of Gerda Stetter Foundation, and partner companies.

V. Categories of Personal Data

Recordings of you, Category (Student/Professor etc.), Country of origin, Form of Address, Title, First and Last Name, E-Mail, Phone Number, Institution (Name of University/Company), Course of Study + Semester, Age etc.

In principle, for as long as the purpose named under no. 3 is being pursued


VIII. Rights of Data Subjects

As a data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Access (Art. 15)
  • Rectification (Art. 16)
  • Erasure (Art. 17)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • Objection to the processing (Art. 21)
  • Data portability (Art. 20)


Where applicable, withdrawal of consent (Art. 7, §3)


IX. Right to Withdraw Consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. Please address your withdrawal to the controller named above or to the data protection officer.

You have the right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 EU GDPR in conjunction with Sec. 19 BDSG) with the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision
