Lego Mindstorms Workshop –
Robot programming
07th December 2024 – VHS Garching
After a short demonstration, the workshop coaches will introduce the participants to the development environment of a robot based on a kit of the LEGO Mindstorms EV3-System, using a graphical user interface to program the robot itself. The participants will work together with models and laptops brought along by our LEGO Coaches.
Prerequisite: Familiarity with the PC, programming knowledge not required.
Who can participate? Young people from 10-15 years. Registration is required for the workshop.

CLEANING ROBOT WORKSHOP
FOR YOUNG TINKERER
10th May 2025 – VHS Garching
In the workshop, a Cleaning Robot is assembled within 6 work steps and moved independently with the help of an integrated DC motor. The Cleaning Robot consists of a brush and a self-built attachment by the tinkerer Bastian Dolde from Dolde Engineering. Once the batteries are inserted, the electric circuit is closed and the little machines immediately start moving.
Who can participate? Children from the age of 7. Registration is required for the workshop.

Coaches trained for Murrelektronik
Our technology coaches were able to inspire more than ten Murrelektronik trainees for our educational work in July. During a training session, they learned about our technology stations such as LEGO Mindstorms and WeDo, Cleaning Robots and the Digital Petting Zoo 4.0. Technology fascinates kids at the Festival of the Future
The Deutsches Museum celebrated its 120th anniversary with the "Festival of the Future". On July 08 and 09, technology coaches from the Gerda Stetter Foundation got young and old excited about technology as part of a large children's program.
